Where does the data on Endeavor One come from?

Endeavor One primarily integrates with Salesforce to pull relevant data, including candidate profiles, company information, and mentor details. This ensures that the platform remains up-to-date with the latest information from Endeavor’s database.

In some cases, Endeavor One also pulls information from external sources to enrich profiles. For example, company pages use Endeavor Brain to search the internet for relevant details, providing a more complete representation of the company.

Does profile information need to be updated through Salesforce?

Profile information can be updated either through Salesforce or directly within Endeavor One. Any changes made in one system will automatically sync with the other, ensuring consistency across platforms.

Does Endeavor Brain search the internet or just our database?

Endeavor Brain primarily searches Endeavor’s internal database, including Salesforce records and structured data. However, in some cases, it utilizes Dashworks for web searches, such as when prompting a web search on a specific mentor.

Additionally, certain sections—like the "About" section on a company page (example)—use an API that searches the internet and cites its sources. This allows Endeavor Brain to provide more comprehensive and up-to-date information.

See How To Use Endeavor Brain for Mentor Discovery for more information.

Why don’t I see anything in Endeavor One?

If you’ve logged in as a Staff member but don’t see any content, you may have accidentally accessed the Guest version of the platform instead of the Staff version.

To confirm, check the upper-right corner of the page. If you see “Guest” under your profile name, you are on the Guest version.

Guests (e.g., Mentors, EEs, Board Members) do not have access to the staff-facing version and can only view content that has been explicitly shared with them, such as profiles, lists, or panels.
