Vision Statement: a vision statement describes what a company desires to achieve in the long-run, generally in a time frame of 5️⃣ to 🔟 years, or sometimes even longer. It depicts a vision of what the company will look like in the future and sets a defined direction.
In this sub-section of the profile, don’t be afraid to think big!
Inflection Point: inflection points are key events or occurrences that change the trajectory of a company and position it at a moment where it is ready to turbocharge growth. Inflection points are more significant than the small day-to-day progress typically made in a company, and the effects of the change are often larger.
The inflection point paragraph in the growth section helps panelists understand why Endeavor should come in to support this company now. The paragraph should answer three main questions:
This section should detail the What (the goals or targets the company aims to achieve) and the How (the strategies or tactics it will pursue to achieve its goals) that comprise a candidate’s short-term and long-term growth strategies.
It is the section that gets to the bottom of the question: how will this company grow 10x from where it is at right now?
⚠️ It is important that you realize this section will highly influence a panelist’s opinion on whether this company will be able to achieve 10x. The growth and strategies delineated in this section must be tangible and realistic, yet ambitious.
They must also back up whatever growth is indicated in the company’s financial statements.
