🔎  Search

Using the top bar, the user will be able to search for:

• Individuals: Mentors, panelists, board members, entrepreneurs, staff, etc.
• Companies: Selected or active companies ( ⚠️ Available after Company Profile feature implementation )
• Candidates: Candidate companies with an ongoing application

<aside> 💡 Use cases

Finding individuals for specific needs

• Staff members search for a specific mentor or entrepreneur to match with a candidate or an Endeavor Entrepreneur (EE)
• Staff members look for potential mentors or entrepreneurs who could match with a candidate or an EE for the selection process or to address particular challenges.
• Staff members seek mentors or entrepreneurs with specific expertise, a proven track record, or who have already mentored candidates or EEs with certain characteristics or challenges.

Relevant participants for events

• Staff members look for mentors or panelists with specific experience or those who have participated in specific events (e.g., ISP) to join a panel or event.
• Staff members search for individuals (mentors, panelists, outliers) from the same country or Endeavor office with similar interests to organize an in-person event.

Peer-to-peer connections

• Staff members search for entrepreneurs facing similar challenges to connect with candidates or foster meaningful peer-to-peer connections. ( Entrepreneurs are prioritized looking for similar challenges)
• Staff members look for entrepreneurs, mentors, candidates or companies with similar characteristics to create connections or learning opportunities. </aside>

Suggestions module

When the search module appears, users can choose the type of contacts they want to find:

• No selection: Show results for all types.
• One selection: Show results only for that type.
• Multiple selections: Show results for all selected types (e.g., mentors and entrepreneurs).
• All selected: Show results for all selected types, excluding individual roles different than mentors or entrepreneurs.

On the results page, filters will be activated based on user selection:

• Selecting "Mentor" or "Entrepreneur":
  • Type: Individual
  • Role: Mentor, Entrepreneur, or both if both are selected.
• Selecting "Candidates" or "Companies":
  • Type: Candidate or Company.
